Darkness
With all the light in the world
it seems that we hide ourselves in the shadows,
in the lies that we tell ourselves
that bind us tighter in the grip of the devils,
who's soul purpose is to keep us in the abyss.
We think ourselves masters.
Instead we are slaves to the lies we tell,
to the pain we give,
to the tears we shed.
We live in a world of self doubt and pity
which keeps us in eternal night.
Nothing can thrive or grow in this shadow of self hatred.
We are lost.
Insanity
Insanity is only a given when friends are involved. Pulling you from one high to another. and then they can leave you in the dust. Sitting dirty on the ground you wonder why you follow these people. you know if they just asked you, you would jump of a cliff. but then hate them at the same time because of what they put you though. you wonder why you still care, and why you try to gain their approval. You want to yell at them and then at the same time hug them and want them to feel better so you can too. They tell you i tried to kill myself today. 57 times in fact you just stare in disbelief. what is wrong with the people we know? i ask my self in the end. Sadly i shall never find out.
